Did you know that stars have colors? Well they do have colors. Stars can be red, orange, yellow, white, or blue. Did you know that the colors of stars tell us the temperature too? The red star's’ temperature ranges from 3,800ºF to 5,800ºF. The orange stars temperature ranges from 6,000ºF to 8,300ºF. The yellow stars’ temperature ranges from 8,500ºF to 10,300ºF. The white stars’ temperature ranges from 13,000ºF to 17,300ºF. The blue stars’ temperature ranges from 52,200ºF to 72,200ºF. It seems that all stars are white, but they aren't all white. They are far away from earth, so our atmosphere makes them all look the same color. Now you know that stars can be different colors and temperatures.
Stars in space are different colors. Scientist use telescopes to study the color and temperature of stars.
