Black hole-Is a collapsed star that not even light can escape from. 4. Constellation-Is a group of stars that forms a picture. 5. Life cycle- Is the stages of something that grows. 6. Light years- about 6-trillion miles. 7. Main sequence-star that's in the middle of its life cycle. 8. Nebula-Clouds of dust and gases where baby stars are born. 9. Protostar-Is a star that’s in its 2nd stage of the life cycle. 10.Proxima Centauri-Is the next closest star to Earth. 11.Pulsar star-A star that spins in its place. 12.Red giant-Is the 4th stage of some stars. 13.Supernova-A big explosion that can last for a week or so. 14.Super red giant-Is a giant extremely hot expanded star that is about to explode. 15.Stars-A big ball of hot gases. 16.Temperature- How hot or cold something is. 17.White dwarf-Is a star that’s energy is burning up rapidly and the star is almost dead. 18.Zodiac signs-Are special types of constellations assigned to ranges of birth dates.

1. astronaut- A traveler that goes into space. 2. craters- Holes on the surface of the moon caused by rocks and meteorites that hit the moon. 3. crescent-When the lit part is getting larger. 4. first quarter- A half circle moon with the left side lit. 5. full moon- When the whole moon is lit. 6. gravity-A force that keeps objects on the ground. 7. last quarter moon- The opposite of first quarter moon. The right half of the moon is lit. 8. lunar eclipse- When the Earth blocks the moon’s light. 9. meteorites- Rocks of different sizes that are in space. 10. moon- A big ball of rock that orbits earth. 11. new moon- A full moon with no light, so it can’t be seen only an outline of the moon can be seen. 12. phases- Changing shapes of the moon as it orbits earth. 13. satellite- An object that orbits another object. 14. solar eclipse- hen the moon blocks the sunlight. 15. gibbous moon- When more than the half the moon is lit. 16. waning- When the lit part of the moon is getting smaller. 17. waxing- When the lit part of the moon is getting bigger.
